Producer of individual, original handmade ceramics. Represented in the collection of The National Gallery of Australia.

BA (Hons) ceramics, Central School of Art & Design, London. After graduating Serena worked in an established artist’s studio in London, which ensured regular opportunities to exhibit. She now lives and works in Bondi Beach.

Although trained as a ceramics artist Serena enjoys working with a variety of materials, mixing nature’s debris with steel, copper, fibres, plaster and silks. Having followed the formal discipline of constructing and firing the ceramics she is then free to embellish the work making each piece unique.

As well as her exhibition and one off works Serena makes a range of domestic ware, which includes bowls and plates of varying sizes and a series of wall vases.
